What is personal coaching? Coaching Coaching helps people to move forward in a direction they want to pursue. It is normally a conversation, or series of conversations, one person has with another which relate to a person’s development, performance and progression.
    • Coaching is unlocking a person’s potential to maximise their own performance. It is helping them to learn rather than teaching them. (Whitmore, 2003)
People use a coach because they want to improve their situations and achieve goals. They want to learn new ways of thinking and approaching situations, to get better results. Common goals include being more organised, more effective at work, gaining confidence in certain situations, or simply relating to other people more effectively. Coaching is not structured training or a way of someone else solving your problems for you! We have a team of qualified coaches who have a passion for making a difference for both the individual and the organisation. We coach individuals at every level from team member to Director/Business Owner to help them grow to fulfil their potential. The coaching sessions usually take place monthly over a 6-month period starting with a contracting session where we will share the role of the coach and establish how we work together to focus on your goals. We love to use different approaches to coaching and are very creative in how we help individuals to achieve their goals. Using a range of tools and techniques and also, where possible, getting people in the outdoors, we are getting some great results from our sessions.
